We are people of many different ages and backgrounds who follow Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord.
We are a local community of believers, yet we are also part of a worldwide and historic church of Christian believers.
We affirm the truths declared in the historic creeds of the Christian faith - the Apostle's Creed and the Nicene Creed.
We are an Anglican church in the Protestant, Evangelical, Reformed tradition.
We believe that the bible is God's word delivered to us via the human authors who were inspired by the Holy Spirit.
We hold to the truth of the gospel message contained in the writings of the New Testament. The Gospel (which means ‘good news’) is that God, who made the universe, has a wonderful plan of salvation to free us from our sin and its consequences. We believe that this plan is centered on Jesus Christ. We see this plan enacted via the birth, life, teachings, miracles, death, and resurrection of Jesus.
Here at KEAC we want to see people become followers of Jesus and so we share this wonderful news:
'For by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do' Ephesians 2:8-10 (NIV)
